Services described

Pages on this site describe programming consulting for secure code review and application hardening advisory. Descriptions are informational. A binding engagement exists only when both parties accept a written proposal or statement of work.

No professional guarantee of perfection

Advisory findings reflect work performed within agreed scope and time. We do not warrant that all defects will be discovered or that remediation will eliminate all risk. Residual risk may remain and will be stated where identified.

Intellectual property

Site content is owned by Utility Brook or its licensors. Engagement deliverables are licensed to the client as stated in the proposal — typically a non-exclusive license to use the report internally. You may not republish our reports as your own marketing without permission.

Client responsibilities

You must provide accurate scope information, lawful access to systems you own or are authorized to have reviewed, and must not submit secrets through public web forms. You remain responsible for implementing remediations and for production decisions.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), Utility Brook’s aggregate liability arising from website use or an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or launch delays except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Courts in Taipei shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or related engagements, unless a signed proposal specifies otherwise.

We aim to keep rates guidance and service descriptions current but may update them without prior notice. Quotes in accepted proposals control over website text.
